I would like to welcome you all to the new season. firstly
a thank you to those who have worked so hard during the closed season to get the green, the huts and the garden ready in time.
We started with the gala Days, which were a great success. The sun shone the whole time and i know we have gained
some new members. All the stalls looked great, with plenty of variety. The Mayor enjoyed himself as well as enjoying Matts
finetights. Matts legs won him the Fancy Dress. I spent 2 lovely days bowling, so i do appreciate all those of you who gave
up playing to run the stalls, and help new people play on the green. it has been a long time since i have seen such a great
day, with so many people having fun within our green. My personal thanks go to all of you who worked so hard, up to and including
the 2 days.
We have a great spirit in this years committee, whch will keep the bowls club on the up.
Finally
please put your names down for the weekend, Plate and Bletchley and District League games, if you are unable to play please
use the unavailable column, as this will help the captains when selecting the teams.

all throughout the season, and i hope you enjoy playing as much as i do.
