In 1934 and 1935 the ground was laid for a new bowls club. In 1936 it was opened as the London Brick Bletchley Bowls Club. It remained in their possession until 1980 when it was closed. It remained closed until the employees of Scot Meats bought the club out of their redundancy payments. It reopened in 1983 as Scot Bowls Club and although the company no longer exists we still have their name.

The bowls season starts in April and ends in late September ( weather permitting ). We have friendlies on Saturday and Sunday afternoons against most of the local teams in Milton Keynes both home and away and we also play a few teams out of the area. We compete in the Bletchley and District Bowls League as well as the County Plate. These games are played on weekday evenings. We also have our own internal cups such as the Novices Cup, Handicap Cup and others. We are affiliated to Bowls England which is the National Body and also to Bucks County Bowls Association and the Bletchley and District League.

To become a member of the Bowls Club you must join the Sports and Social Club which is next door. We have our own committee which is run separate from the social clubs committee.

At the club we have 2 coaches who will be on hand to give any coaching tips that you might need. They are Paul Ashby and Dave Wilson and they both can be contacted by telephone if you cant get hold of them at the club.
